In the field of Sports, ERGO.Academy supports the child-teenager-young athlete on an individual and group level, strengthening his mental and psycho-emotional skills. At the same time, the coach's work is supported by appropriate guidance and planning of actions/exercises. Finally, parents are informed and educated in ways to manage and enhance their child's effort so that his/her involvement in sports becomes a positive experience with multiple benefits for his/her physical and mental health.

 

Indicative Programmes:

STRENGTHENING PSYCHOLOGICAL SKILLS AND RESISTANCE OF YOUNG ATHLETES / THREE VOLLEYBALL - NATIONAL CHILDREN'S VOLLEYBALL TEAM

Duration: November 2019 - April 2020

 

The Hellenic Volleyball Federation commissioned ERGO.Academy to prepare and implement an innovative program for the best possible preparation of the young Volleyball athletes of the Attica region as well as of the National Volleyball Team (U17) towards the great challenge of the European Championship 2020.

 

The ultimate goal of the Programme is the empowerment and improvement of young athletes who represent our country in international competitions. To achieve the individual objectives of the Program, ERGO.Academy developed actions and curricula, utilized modern psychometric tools and methods and worked on an individual and a team basis with the young athletes and their coaches.

A PSYCHO-EMOTIONAL EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM FOR VOLLEYBALL YOUNG GIRLS PLAYERS

Duration: February 2018 - May 2018

 

The Program was implemented in “MILON” Sports Club at the municipality of Nea Smyrni and regarded particularly boys and girls of the ages of 12 to 15 in the Volleyball Section. The intervention was developed in three pillars, lasting one month each, and concerned the topics of group cohesion, self-knowledge and emotion management.

 

The main objectives of the Programme were to strengthen the self-perception / self-esteem of the young athletes, to enhance motivation for their stay in sports, to successfully manage unpleasant emotions (e.g. stress), and to support the development of team spirit.
